Welcome to Rose Acupuncture
Dedicated to Your Health and Well-Being
We are in our second decade of offering Chinese Medicine to the Rogue Valley. Our acupuncturist, Dr. Brian "Rosie" Rosenthal, has been practicing in Medford since 1996. He returned to school in 2005 to pursue doctoral studies at the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine and now holds a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (DAOM), the highest degree in the field. While in school, he thought a great deal about the state of health care in this country and the fact that so many people are unable to get the care they need and he decided to do something about this.
Beginning in 2008, Rose Acupuncture changed in two important ways to serve you better:
1) We have lowered our rates. We now have a sliding scale of $25 to $50 per treatment, instead of charging a flat fee of $50, so you can afford to get as many treatments as you need. Your rate will be determined by your income. Because of these lower rates, we will no longer bill insurance, but will be happy to give you a payment receipt for you to submit to your insurance company. Please see Financial Information page.
2) We have shifted to a traditional style of community treatment. Instead of lying on a table in one of the small rooms, you'll relax in a comfortable recliner in the large, quiet group treatment room. Treating patients in this style has many benefits, one of which is the reduced rates. Also, most patients find it comforting to have other people in the room, it's easy for friends and family members to come in for treatment together, and you can choose to stay for as long (or as short) as you want. Please see the New Patients page for more information.
Our foremost intention is to make quality health care affordable for you. Dr. Rosenthal has experience using Chinese Medicine to treat a myriad of conditions successfully. His specialty is treating pain. By working in a group setting, Dr. Rosenthal can streamline treatments and still provide the same high quality care. With his eleven years of experience with thousands of patients, he can now more quickly recognize disease patterns and formulate treatment plans. In addition, we've created a soothing atmosphere in the treatment room so you can deeply relax into the quiet. This kind of collective stillness is a rare and precious thing in our rushed and busy society.
We hope to see you, and your friends and family, soon. Please spread the word about these changes. If you have any questions, please call.
